How do I install flex frames?

You will need skirting board scissors, a spirit level or laser and possibly masking tape.
For bows you need a piece of string to determine the radius for the bottom part.
If the corners are not cut straight and do not fit together nicely, this can be solved with a bit of sealant.

That depends on your design, the dimensions of your wall, and whether you want to install one or more frames. For each frame, calculate the total length of all sides (2 x height + 2 x width) and add 10% for cutting waste.

Mark the desired position on the wall using a spirit level or laser. This ensures a straight and even placement and gives you a chance to see if you like the design and if it fits your interior.
Use skirting board shears for a clean, straight cut. Use a 45° angle for the corners, or 180° to ensure they meet perfectly.

Yes, we recommend always allowing for some waste. Especially when cutting to size or making corners, there may be some residual material left over that you can no longer use.
Therefore, add about 10% to the total length you need for your project. This way, you'll be sure to have enough Flexlijst for a neat finish, without any surprises later.
Flex mouldings adhere well to most flat, dry, and grease-free surfaces. Think of walls, wallpaper, smooth plasterwork, wood, MDF, and even tiles.
Make sure the surface is clean and dust-free before you begin. Avoid installing on highly absorbent or damp surfaces such as untreated concrete or rough brick, unless you first treat them with a suitable primer.

With some rolls, the last piece of molding may bend slightly forward because it was tightly rolled. Don't worry: this is easily solved by first letting the molding rest unrolled at room temperature with a weight on the end of the molding and, if necessary, temporarily securing it to the wall with tape while the sealant dries.
